This METRO Construction
Construction of the 20-mile initial light rail line will continue through the grand opening month of December 2008. METRO light rail will carry passengers through the heart of the Valley, with stops near most major employment centers and entertainment and shopping districts in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.

Where will the first Waveyard be located?
Waveyard's site rests at the southeast corner of the Loops 101 & 202 interchange. Waveyard will be in close proximity to the Mesa Riverview retail development, Phoenix's Sky Harbor airport and Arizona State University (ASU). Waveyard's main entrance will also sit door to door with Bass Pro Shop's newest location, which is scheduled to open this May.

World's Largest Adventure Park To Be Built in Phoenix
Waveyard Development, LLC is currently negotiating the deal for the land at an undisclosed location is called . The goal is to build first outdoor super park adventure and resort destination.
What do they have in mind?
Hold on tight--here's a preliminary list of what's included:
-a surfing pool. It will be the largest wave pool constructed in the United States featuring over 150,000 square feet of water surface. The pool will be capable of delivering waves up to 12 feet in height but will provide wave configurations suitable for all riders. -a beginner’s pool featuring padded side walls and gentle 3-4 foot waves generated every 10-12 seconds -the world’s largest, multi-channel, self circulating white water river. There will be an upper start pool, three primary white water channels, a gentler beginners river, a lower finishing pool and an incline conveyor belt system to return people to the top of the course. It will support world-class rafting and kayaking experiences. - a skatepark - a diving and snorkeling lagoon lined with fiber optic lights for night dives - a climbing center and ropes course - fly fishing ponds - a mountain bike course - a 55,000 square foot indoor water park - an outdoor amphitheater - an entertainment retail center focused on outdoor sporting goods and interactive retail experiences - a 320 room resort hotel - 150 resort villas - a conference center - a spa and wellness center - a sand beach - restaurants - office space - residential communities
The Waveyard is expected to break ground in 2007. The developers describe it as a pioneer adventure, lifestyle destination that they expect to become the second most visited tourist attraction in the state of Arizona, behind only the Grand Canyon.

Banner Ironwood a New Medical Campus in Pinal County. We anticipate construction on Phase I will begin in late 2007 or early 2008
Health Care for a Growing Community
Banner Health is moving into Pinal County to address the growing health care needs in the county and Southeast Valley. The future plans for the 80 acre medical campus will include a hospital and other associated services.
The new facility will be called Banner Ironwood Medical Center, and will be located south of Combs Road on Gantzel Road, adjacent to the Town of Queen Creek.
